Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- The ideal candidate will design and implement a solution to support big data processing for retail companies, ensuring seamless integration with the existing architecture.
- A strong background in designing and implementing data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, is essential for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Experience integrating metadata and governance processes into cloud-based data platforms is highly valued.
- Proficiency in SQL is necessary for performing complex queries, data transformations, and performance tuning on cloud-based data storages.
- Strong expertise with Azure Data Factory (minimum 3 years of experience).
- Leadership skills, particularly in managing distributed teams.
- Extensive experience in building robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data lakes or data warehouses.
- The ability to integrate data from disparate sources, including databases, APIs, and external data providers, is crucial.
- Designing and implementing data warehousing solutions is a key requirement.
Certification in Azure, Databricks, or other relevant technologies is a valuable asset.
