Job Summary

This role involves leading engineering teams responsible for designing, building, testing, and certifying the computing and network platform of aircraft. The successful candidate will have experience in managing projects, developing technical plans, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of engineers to develop, validate, verify, integrate, and certify Integrated Modular Avionics Systems.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver complex projects within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to establish project plans and manage team execution.
  • Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project requirements.
  • Develop and improve the Integrated Modular Avionics Function.
  • Manage employees performing engineering and technical tasks.
  • Develop and execute project and process plans.
  • Coordinate engagement with BCA engineering counterparts.
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Must be legally able to work in Brazil.
  • Experience in management or leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in an engineering-related field or Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience with Agile project management methods.
  • Experience in requirements management and system safety assessment methodology.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry.
