The Avionics/IMA System Engineer will join the IMA team, focusing on Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software development, design, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with component designers to develop and qualify components per DO-160 and DO-254 guidelines.
- Work with system requirements documentation, validation, and verification per ARP-4754A standards.
- Develop hardware using AEH devices CsoC, FPGA, and oversee integration with IMA Platform hosted functions.
- Create and execute verification plans to meet operational and functional requirements.
- Ensure supplier performance and compliance with requirements and schedule.
This position is hybrid, requiring some work onsite at designated locations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Hold a degree in electrical or computer engineering.
- Be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA).
- Proficient in verbal and written English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic systems hardware and software design.
- Certification experience for electronic systems designs through regulatory agencies.
- Systems design experience during airplane development programs including Amended Type Certification.
- Demonstrated project management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Aerospace Networking Standards knowledge such as ARINC664, ARINC825.
- Model Based Development tools experience.
