Child and Family Therapist

Mentor Behavioral Health provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Behavioral Health services to children, individuals and families. This position involves working closely with clients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment by interviewing the client and their family.
- Provide therapy, support, and crisis interventions to individuals, families and/or groups using various treatment modalities as outlined in state/local contracts and/or state licensing standards.
- Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Coordinate other treatment initiatives including school performance, permanency, and reunification planning.
- Prepare and train the client's biological or legal parents to resume care of their child when reunification is the goal.
- Attend regular meetings, clinical sessions and one-on-one discussions with direct supervisor to review current case status.
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in a human services field
- Experience preferred or as required by state
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
