Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Business Process Improvement Leader to lead our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) initiatives within our Operations Solutions team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of MES systems — from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment, training, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with global and local business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure effective MES integration with ERP, LIMS, PIMS, and plant automation layers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead MES deployments globally, including planning, execution, support, and vendor coordination
  • Design, develop, document, and configure MES modules based on user requirements
  • Integrate MES solutions with SAP (PP, QM, LE, PM), PIMS, LIMS, and control systems
  • Own MES service lifecycle and support operations in line with SLAs and KPIs
  • Analyze and improve information flows, focusing on data quality and process efficiency
  • Identify system and process gaps, and lead digital improvements across manufacturing
  • Manage and execute international, cross-functional projects using Agile, Scrum, Prince2, or Waterfall methodologies
  • Evaluate and enhance the MES product roadmap in alignment with business goals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AVEVA model-driven MES and OT systems
  • ERP integration experience (especially SAP PP, QM, LE, PM)
  • Knowledge in production scheduling, OEE, traceability, automation, and quality management
  • Familiarity with batch/process manufacturing, preferably in the chemical industry
  • Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Warehouse Management is a plus
  • Experience with AVEVA PI, OPC, DCS/PLC, and SAP MII is a plus
