Automation Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an automation expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps and infrastructure automation, with experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing automation solutions.

  • Design and implement automation workflows for provisioning, configuration, and management of on-premise network devices, servers, and storage.
  • Support standardization of configuration baselines for devices across regions.
  • Audit existing device configurations, inventory collection, and identify discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deploy reusable configuration templates and automation playbooks.
  2. Integrate configuration standards into automated workflows to minimize technical debt.
  3. Build compliance validation checkpoints, support drift detection and remediation.
  4. Manage version control, rollback workflows, and continuous improvement of configurations.

The role requires collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to improve delivery speed, quality, and security.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience is required. At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar automation roles is preferred.

Key Requirements: Proficiency in scripting languages, knowledge of infrastructure concepts, and experience with CI/CD tools.
