Your role at NTT DATA

The Sales Support Analyst typically operates within larger operational settings where there is sufficient workload for multiple levels of sales administration. This position serves as a supportive function to the sales team, assisting sales personnel by managing various aspects of sales order administration, including the quote to cash process.
This role involves processing orders for products or services from sales representatives or direct customer inquiries. It includes maintaining customer records with sales agreements and relevant information. Responsibilities also encompass providing price estimates, completing order forms, and verifying the price and quantity of each item listed. Order forms are then distributed to the appropriate departments. Coordination with other departments regarding order status, shipping timelines, pricing, product availability, and back orders may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance operational sales efficiency by building relationships with vendors and managing daily interactions, inquiries, and information exchange. Under close supervision, generate quotes for clients based on direct requests or on behalf of the Sales team. May assist in managing aspects of the purchase order process by creating, distributing, and overseeing purchase orders. Verify quotes against submitted orders to ensure accuracy and that the correct terms and conditions are applied. Collaborate with commercial colleagues to obtain the latest vendor pricing information. Manage general sales-related documentation through receiving, labeling, sorting, filing, and distributing as necessary. Capture data and maintain systems as required by the sales process and team. Provide basic administrative support to the sales team as needed. Utilize systems and data to generate reports when necessary.

Required Skills and Attributes:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Good analytical abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude. Familiarity with sales processes, tools, and methodologies is advantageous. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, applying a proactive approach to routine tasks.

Educational Background:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

Familiarity with quoting tools is a plus. Previous experience in administration, particularly in quote to cash processes.
