Production Services Specialist
A leading financial institution seeks an experienced Technology Production Services Consultant to join its Application Production Services Technology group.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description
The successful candidate will lead multiple significant projects, work independently with minimal direction, and be evaluated based on end results.
They will provide strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues.
Additionally, they will participate in the development of technology products, service standards, and development efforts that impact the client/business area.

Responsibilities
- Lead production support management for vendor and internally developed local applications (L1 and L2), ensuring smooth operations and resolution of issues.
- Serve as a single point of contact and escalation point between the client/business area and internal management for unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests.
- Provide business support for vendor application functions and processes, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Coordinate APS ITIL governance discipline, leading and training the team to follow standards, and being responsible for internal and external KPIs reporting.
- Measure SLAs and OLAs, and provide regular reporting on performance metrics.
- Manage production environment alerting through monitoring tools, ensuring timely notifications and issue resolution.
- Oversee change and release management for supported applications, including market releases upgrades and vendor application upgrades.
- Perform software quality assurance for Brazilian market releases upgrades (vendor).
- Provide local management support for global patches and releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including management and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in creating dashboards and adding infrastructure and application pieces to be monitored (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics).
- Experience with monitoring tools and ability to create effective dashboards.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to isolate components and identify root causes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively in stressful situations.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering is a strong asset.
