Job Description

The Production Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production line. This includes:

  • Supervising production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures;
  • Supervising and monitoring day-to-day production line operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures, including work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations;
  • Liaising with quality control to ensure products meet quality regulations and standards;
  • Making adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications; Rejecting products outside of specifications;
  • Ensuring a clean and safe work area in accordance with HSE area - Safety policies and procedures;
  • Leading, directing, evaluating, and developing a team of production workers.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A Mechanical Technical Course;
  • Hydraulic, lubrication, and pneumatic knowledge;
  • Lecture and interpretation of drawings;
  • System adjustment;
  • 5 years' experience as an assembler mechanic, specifically with paper and pulp equipment;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Flexibility;
  • Resilience;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to think creatively and introduce new ideas and technologies;
  • Result-focused.
