Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Accommodations Plus International. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and reconcile invoices, identifying discrepancies and taking prompt action to resolve them.
  • Make collection calls and maintain old accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment from clients.
  • Compile data, calculate fees, and prepare invoices for collection purposes under the supervision of the Accounts Receivable Manager.
  • Respond to payment discrepancies and initiate collection or dispute resolution processes, performing follow-up procedures as needed.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Perform customer payment analysis to properly record actions required to resolve disputed items.
  • Post payments in billing and track invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Monitor payment plans and perform other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in the travel industry, with a strong understanding of financial operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, math, or a related field.
  • Advanced English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
