Our organization is seeking a skilled Clinical Data Coder to support the accurate and secure collection, management, and reporting of clinical data for ongoing studies.

This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail in coding medical terms and medications utilizing industry-wide standards such as MedDRA and WHO Drug. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating the assignment of dictionaries, developing and maintaining coding guidelines, and reviewing and providing input to the Coding section of the Data Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate coding of medical terms and medications
  • Coordinate dictionary assignment
  • Develop and maintain coding guidelines
  • Review and provide input to the Coding section of the Data Management Plan
  • Validate/test coding set up and programming

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field, along with 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Dictionaries used for coding are also required. Experience working with clinical trials or within the pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
