Job Description

Job Title: Operations Strategy Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Strategy Director to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As an Operations Strategy Director, you will be responsible for leading the development of operational strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver operational proposal deliverables
  • Collaborate with therapeutic and cross-functional leadership teams to assess success and profitability
  • Drive the development of operations segments of proposals
  • Partner with Clinical Operations, Commercial organization, and MMS to enhance proposal efficiency management
  • Direct operations escalation process and advise commercial strategy team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • Previous experience in clinical operations and/or project management
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence executive/c-suite team members
  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical project management and business strategy
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills and commercial acumen
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure/time-sensitive environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Therapeutic experience in relevant therapeutic area
  • Previous experience as a global project lead and/or oversight director
  • Strong grasp of operations finance and management
  • Presentation skills and contract (SOW) negotiation
