About the Role

The Business Process Consultant is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional results and making our clients successful within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW). This role requires a deep understanding of customer business and industry, as well as the ability to assess findings and shape solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with client teams.
  • Use knowledge of customer's business and industry to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Make decisions based on sound judgment under pressure and without need for referral.
  • Guide customers through the design process to make decisions with full visibility into Ariba Best Practices.
  • Assist customers in the development of processes and procedures, which leverage Ariba solution functionality being deployed.
  • Write solution design documents.
  • Plan and manage project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget and meet quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities within the engagement to enhance/improve revenue.
  • Identify and escalate project issues.
  • Demonstrate influence and personal authority adapting style to manage company or cultural differences.
  • Share expertise through training and communications with customers ensuring knowledge transfer and the desired level of self-sufficiency is achieved.

Requirements

  • A minimum of seven (7) years consulting experience in ERP systems implementation and process re-engineering through national or regional consulting firm.
  • Broad knowledge of spend management strategies and/or procurement, sourcing, category management, vendor performance management.
  • Proven experience in one of these 2 Ariba lines: Strategic Sourcing: Sourcing, Contracts and SLP/SIPM. Operational/Tactical: Ariba Buying, Catalogs, Network.
  • Advanced English language: written and conversation.

Desired Qualifications

  • Spanish Language.
  • Experience in international projects.
  • SAP Activate Methodology.
  • Certification in SAP MM or SAP Ariba is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of one or more ERP Modules/Areas: ABAP, PI/PO, GRC NFE, GRC AC, PS, PM, FI.
  • Industry focus is an asset (1-3 industries or sectors).
