Electrical Engineering Service Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Electrical Engineering Service Technician.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who can take on the responsibility of installing, maintaining, and repairing Vertiv UPS, battery, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment.

About the Role:

  • To respond to service calls in a professional manner.
  • To perform all work in a safe and timely manner according to established company safety policies.
  • To ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established procedures.
  • To maintain accurate customer listings by reporting errors with the site change form.
  • To support company vision and management decisions.
  • To follow up on assigned tasks and submit daily paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with Export Compliance, Import Compliance, EU Arrivals and Dispatching, and Supply Chain Security regulations.
  • Traveling to various locations and working at heights, confined spaces, and other environments as required by the job.

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a technical service or test environment of AC Power equipment.
  • Computer literacy and previous field service experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills.
