DevOps Engineer Role Summary

The ideal candidate for this DevOps Engineer position will have a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Windows-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Support and manage Windows-based systems including Active Directory, domain configuration, and Entra ID.
  • Design security controls, tools, and processes aligned with best practices in cloud and infrastructure security.
  • Provide support across Windows systems as required (Linux knowledge is a plus).
  • Manage and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Set up and manage monitoring and alerting with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with AWS in production environments.
  • Strong Windows Server experience, including Active Directory, domain setup, and Entra ID.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure security best practices.
  • Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Experience with Ansible.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Must be permanently based in Brazil.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Linux system administration.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
