Senior Risk Analyst Role Overview

About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our risk management team as a Senior Risk Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in risk assessment, analysis, and mitigation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tasks related to risk management functions, including market, credit, liquidity, operational, and Assets & Liabilities Management (ALM). They will also be required to monitor and control the Bank's exposure to different types of risk, particularly market, interest rate, counterparty, credit, operational, and liquidity risk.

  • Develop and maintain risk policies, manuals, and procedures for the Risk Management function.
  • Prepare materials for the ALCO committee, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Support the CRO in maintaining risk policies, manuals, and procedures for the Risk Management functions.
Key Responsibilities

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring liquidity positions daily and informing the CRO of potential breaching of liquidity limits.
  • Measuring, validating, and monitoring Value-at-Risk (VaR), pricing of bonds, mark-to-market (MtM) of derivatives, sensitivities, greeks, and other relevant risk figures.
  • Quantifying and monitoring total exposure by individual risk factors and relative capital absorption.
  • Performing stress and worst-case scenarios tests to evaluate the impact of different market scenarios on risk profiles, income, and capital absorption.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in risk management in large domestic banks or international banks.
  • Bachelor's Degree - post-graduation degree desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of market and liquidity risk analysis and monitoring.
