About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our Marketing & Supply team in Brazil. As a key member of our New Value Chains team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our step-out strategies, identifying and maturing new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor commercial and regulatory developments in Brazilian gas and power markets, including market and price intelligence.
  • Develop competitor analysis of relevant players and stakeholders.
  • Support negotiations for natural gas transmission capacity contracts, processing agreements, natural gas sales agreements, and participation in power auctions.
  • Keep traders, originators, and management informed of underlying fundamentals that affect the market and Equinor's overall portfolio in Brazil.
  • Participate actively in the shaping of liberalization initiatives for the Brazilian gas market.
  • Support upstream projects with gas value chain solutions.
  • Develop business cases for a step-out value chain positioning.
  • Originate commercial opportunities and participate in meetings with clients.
  • Develop market strategies aiming to maximize value for Equinor assets.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence products, such as dashboards, to support NVC decision-making processes.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a commercial and collaborative mindset, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should have a strong understanding of the energy sector and be able to communicate complex ideas effectively. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as production engineering, economics, finance, or business administration, is required. Experience in the energy sector is an advantage.
