Job Description

The Role

Marketing, Midstream & Processing (MMP) is responsible for the safe and efficient development of Equinor's oil and gas value chain. We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team in Marketing & Supply, New Value Chains, and contribute to the development of new business opportunities in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor commercial and regulatory developments in Brazilian gas and power markets.
  • Develop competitor analysis of relevant players and stakeholders.
  • Support negotiations for natural gas transmission capacity contracts, processing agreements, and natural gas sales agreements.
  • Keep traders, originators, and management informed of underlying fundamentals that affect the market and Equinor's portfolio in Brazil.
  • Participate actively in the shaping of liberalization initiatives for the Brazilian gas market.
  • Support upstream projects with gas value chain solutions.
  • Develop business cases for a step-out value chain positioning.
  • Originate commercial opportunities and participate in meetings with clients.
  • Develop market strategies to maximize value for Equinor assets.
  • Develop and maintain intelligence products, such as dashboards, to support NVC decision-making.
Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with a commercial and collaborative mindset. Collaboration within the team is essential to create innovative structured products that meet evolving market demands. The ideal candidate should have a holistic view of the energy market and enjoy analytical tasks. Strong abilities to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines are crucial, as well as effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

What We Offer
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Production engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Energy Management, Data Science, Data Management, International Business.
  • Completed degree by the year of starting (2024).
  • No more than two years of relevant full-time work experience.
  • Formal experience is not a requirement.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Eligibility to have CREA for engineering educations by August 2024.
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.
  • A strong analytical and commercial mindset, with an ability to work with deadlines.
  • Knowledge/experience within the energy sector is an advantage.
  • Good competence working with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is an advantage.
