We are seeking a driven professional to support our Finance organization as Senior Accounting Analyst II. This role will be a key member of our accounting team, directly exposed to supporting one of our faster-growing regions, Latin America.

The ideal candidate will provide financial expertise in collaborating with bookkeeping service providers and corporate accounting on aspects of the monthly accounting close process. Additionally, they will review service provider support to ensure importation process, invoicing, and prepayments are accurate and processed within a 24-hour period outlined in the Service Level Agreement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with corporate tax, accounting, and service providers to support accurate and timely transfer pricing models, local tax filings, and other general tax compliance.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely management of inventory in SAP, including reviewing the monthly inventory reconciliation.
  • Following capital management process, including reviewing asset management and depreciation schedules.
  • Providing guidance on T&E policies and ensuring compliance to policies, coordinating with Shared Services.
  • Supporting local Commercial and Customer Services teams to address any payment, invoicing, payroll, procurement, commissions, and policy questions.
  • Supporting AMR Commercial Finance team as needed on accounting issues that impact revenue projections, revenue and OpEx forecasting.
  • Collaborating with corporate Accounting team to ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
  • Initiating and driving projects to enhance and automate internal controls over financial reporting (system enhancements, integrations, implementations, etc.,)

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, CPA or local equivalent, Big 4/Regional Public Accounting experience, minimum of 8 years progressively responsible accounting and finance experience, life science and manufacturing industries accounting experience a plus, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel.
