Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping services to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

The job involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned. Additionally, you will assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials, perform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standards, walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments, notify Business Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetings, responsible for knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestos, assist in snow removal as required, and perform other duties as required.

Customer Service Requirements">

You will complete all service requests in accordance with company standards. This includes being available for weekend work, on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service requests, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as scheduled.

Requirements">

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. CFC Type I & II is preferred, 180 days from hire to obtain. A valid Driver's License and at least 1 year of maintenance experience are required. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushing, are necessary. Sufficient knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessments up to the standards of a Service Technician I is required.
