Property Maintenance Specialist

The Maintenance Technician role entails performing various maintenance, upkeep, and housekeeping duties to ensure the property presents an excellent appearance and maintains quality living spaces.
Duties:- Perform regular maintenance inspections, repairs, and janitorial services as assigned by management.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain storage areas and inventory of tools and materials.
- Participate in refurbishing and renovating apartments according to established company standards.
- Regularly inspect the property's exterior to ensure curb appeal and apartment quality.
- Communicate safety concerns to the Business Manager and participate in regular safety meetings.
- Stay informed about specific property issues such as asbestos regulations.
- Assist with snow removal when necessary.
- Perform other tasks as required by management.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- CFC Type I & II certification is desired, with a 180-day timeframe to obtain after hire.
- A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
- At least one year of maintenance experience is required.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
- The ability to walk around the property, ascend stairs, lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform general physical activities like bending, kneeling, pushing, etc., is necessary.
- Proficiency in completing maintenance assessments up to the standards of a Service Technician I is required.
