We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Data Center Logistics Specialist.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, proficiency in English both written and spoken, and 1-2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Review data center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure proper stock levels are maintained in all locations to support build and repair activities.
- Create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their life cycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns.
- Work closely with Data center Operations Technicians and Data center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately.
- Interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements.
- Regularly communicate with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand business requirements.
- Cycle counts and PO's receiving
- Material storage and storage room organization
The ideal candidate will have a completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent and familiarity with material moving equipment such as pallet jacks.
