Cloud Storage Software Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and maintain software for delivery, operations and life-cycle management of Ceph storage.

  • Write high quality, rigorously designed Python and Golang code with a focus on distributed systems and open source technology.
  • Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team to design and deliver scalable and reliable cloud storage solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical documentation that define best practices for authoring high quality operators.
  • Participate in discussions and collaborate on finding effective solutions to complex problems.

The candidate will be part of Cloud Engineering and will work closely with the team to build modelling software to drive systems such as OpenStack, Ceph, and Kubernetes with a focus on distributed storage and Ceph.

International travel may be required occasionally for this role.
