Web Analytics Specialist Job Description

As a skilled Web Analytics & Attribution Specialist, you will provide clean, reliable tracking and actionable insights for our clients. Your role will be ideal for someone who understands the complexity of web tracking, including GA4, GTM, ad pixels, and conversion APIs, and can connect the dots so marketing teams can trust their data and make better decisions.

This position involves implementing, auditing, and optimizing GA4 setups with a focus on accurate attribution, building and managing GTM containers for event, conversion, and cross-platform tracking, configuring and troubleshooting pixels, events, and APIs for Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other platforms, identifying and fixing attribution gaps across websites, cross-domain setups, and multiple platforms, aligning tracking setups with paid media campaigns to ensure reliable reporting, creating dashboards that make performance data easy to understand, documenting setups clearly and collaborating with performance marketing teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience with GA4 and GTM.
  • Proven expertise in attribution across Google Ads, Meta, and other major ad platforms.
  • A strong understanding of GA4's event / data model and GTM implementation best practices.
  • The ability to troubleshoot tracking issues such as misfiring tags, duplicate events, or broken data layers.
  • Familiarity with conversion APIs, consent mode, and privacy-first tracking setups.
  • Clear communication skills to bridge technical insights with business needs.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with server-side tagging and advanced data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript for advanced tracking setups.
  • Experience building attribution-focused reporting frameworks.
