Financial Analyst Role

A Financial Analyst is responsible for: forecasting, planning & actuals reports and analysis across various areas. These include sales, material and logistic costs, profitability, and R&D.

  • Sales reporting and tracking on product level with details over customer, volume, price, and location, including explanations of variances compared to different reference periods.
  • Material and Logistic Costs reporting and tracking on product level with details over supplier, volume, price, and variances.
  • Profitability preparation of monthly report of contribution margin by product level.
  • R&D report on project and work center level, with details of cost for different types of projects, customer reimbursements, intra company allocations and related taxes, as well as monthly actuals data upload.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Daily contact with partners to guarantee alignment over reports and variances.
  • Month end closing manual entries requests to accounting department (when applicable), and evaluation of accruals associated to Sales, Material, Logistics and R&D.
  • Part Number master data maintenance in SAP to ensure proper combination of location and partner outlet are aligned to the appropriate organization within the company internal structure of reporting.
  • Preparation of support documentation for internal / external auditors through accounting department, over analyzing processes / entries involving Sales, Material, Logistic Costs and R&D.
  • Quarterly notes explanation to accounting department for internal systems reporting purposes.
  • Support on Standard Cost annual calculation, and other operations reports.

Requirements
  • Graduation in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or related areas;
  • Professional experience of minimum 2 years;
  • SAP ERP knowledge;
  • MS Office tools knowledge (mainly Excel);
  • Advanced level in English;
  • Analytical, strategic and communication skills;
  • Resilience and tenacity.
