Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development, including experience with Shopify Plus. They will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting critical issues, and escalating as needed. They will also work closely with the product management team to ensure that the systems meet the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshoot critical issues
  • Work closely with product management to ensure system capabilities meet business requirements
  • Develop key system components and optimize delivery time
  • Research platform capabilities and opportunities for eCommerce roadmap
  • Perform code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Shopify development experience with knowledge of Shopify Plus
  • Solid understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience with page performance optimization and secure development practices
  • Knowledge of front-end caching, CDNs, and request-response flow
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira
