Education Support Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an education support specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to lead teachers in teaching classes, preparing content and managing students in school environments.
  • Assist lead teachers in the distribution and collection of materials.
  • Participate in the implementation of didactic-pedagogical projects by the school.
  • Keep classrooms organized with materials requested by lead teachers.
  • Be responsible for decorating walls, doors, tables, and bulletin boards around the school.
  • Adapt activities for students with special educational needs.
  • Ensure safety by constantly staying with students during activities, observing, guiding, and interfering when necessary to avoid possible accidents.
  • Receive students at the entrance and exit of the school, paying attention to safety standards and delivering them only to authorized personnel.
  • Accompany students at meal times, ensuring everyone eats well.
  • Manage classes in times of absence or temporary unavailability of lead teachers.
  • Record student activities through videos and photos and send them to lead teachers within established deadlines without disturbing the classroom dynamics.
  • Participate in Academic Meetings, educational conferences, and development workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
  • Attend school events open to families.
  • Follow RED HOUSE general guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers' Handbook, Assessment Policy).

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Attending or graduated in Pedagogy.
  • Experience: Desirable 2 years of classroom experience; experience with Early Childhood Education.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (English level: C1 or higher).
  • Specific Technical Knowledge: Bilingualism; Early Childhood education (specific for Early Childhood Education).
  • Desirable Knowledge: IB Methodology; Child Development.
  • Soft Skills and Values: Digital Thinking; Caring Profile; Interpersonal Relationships; Conflict Management; Creativity.
