We are seeking a talented Executive Director to lead the Office of Financial Aid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective financial aid strategies to support enrollment, retention, and net tuition revenue goals.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial aid administration, including institutional, federal, state, local, and private financial aid and scholarship programs.
  • You will oversee accurate and efficient financial aid processing, operations, and customer service while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and donor restrictions.
  • The Executive Director will play a crucial role in supporting our University's strategic objectives through collaborative work with Enrollment Management Leadership Team, colleges/schools, academic departments, Development and Alumni Relations, and other administrative units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial aid strategies to drive student success and achievement of institutional goals.
  • Maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders, including Enrollment Management, colleges/schools, and academic departments, to promote collaboration and shared objectives.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with external organizations, such as scholarship providers and community groups, to expand opportunities for students.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and direction to the Office of Financial Aid staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial aid administration, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
