The ideal candidate for this role is someone who enjoys interacting with customers and helping them overcome their home improvement challenges.
This position involves greeting customers, assisting them in finding the right products and services, and ensuring that all customer needs are met.
Customer Service Associates work across various departments within a retail environment, including sales, customer support, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
- Conduct stock checks to identify empty shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
- Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely receipt of merchandise by customers.
- Provide cross-functional training to colleagues to enhance overall customer experience.
- Prepare merchandise displays based on customer preferences.
- Guide customers through shopping or checkout processes.
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Six months of experience using computers for tasks such as data input, access, modification, and output.
- Proficiency in using common retail technology, including mobile devices and tablets.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities necessary for job performance.
