Product Assurance Specialist

This role is accountable for ensuring the quality and safety of our products by implementing rigorous testing and evaluation procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately record results in a timely manner.
The successful Product Assurance Specialist will be responsible for managing laboratory operations, conducting chemical analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
In addition to technical expertise, the selected candidate will need to demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage lab inventory, coordinate equipment maintenance, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform chemical analysis and test data interpretation to determine product acceptability.
- Manage daily lab operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment calibration.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and flavor profile assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (chemistry, food science, or biology).
- 2-4 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in product assurance or quality control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software applications.
