Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

As a senior quality assurance specialist, you will play a crucial role in leading the QA/QC process of land development plan submissions.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and collaborate with project managers and multi-disciplined design teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform independent technical reviews in areas of Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design, and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design.
  • Identify potential design or constructability issues and provide value engineering for solutions that meet project requirements while reducing costs.
  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables through rigorous evaluation and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective quality control measures.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in Civil Site Engineering, with a strong background in residential and commercial/industrial site design and permitting.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate personal and/or company vehicle.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop and BlueBeam software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient grading and drainage design skills, as well as utility design experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and train junior staff members.
