Digital Infrastructure Director

At Equinix, we're the world's digital infrastructure company, operating over 250 data centers across the globe. We're looking for a talented individual to join our operations team as a Latam Cross Functional Engineering Director.
About the RoleWe're seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and leadership to manage a cross-functional team that supports critical facility uptime requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in project controls, asset management, and escalated site support for critical facility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team that provides asset management expertise, project controls, and escalated site support for critical facility infrastructure.
- Ensure the team is working safely, effectively, and with high regard to human error avoidance.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to drive team results.
- Lead and implement resources to complete projects as required.
- Manage the team to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecom, Mechanical, or Automation.
- Fluent English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus.
- Solid previous experience in leading, inspiring, and developing a team of critical facility subject matter experts.
- Maintain strong working relationships with assigned site locations.
- Maintain and improve Continuous Improvement processes and culture.
- Direct the reporting of key performance indicators.
