Quality Assurance Specialist
The successful candidate will work with some of our biggest projects within the retail industry, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure high-quality data.
About You:
- You are a detail-oriented and experienced professional who is passionate about quality assurance and analytical roles.
- With 3+ years' experience in data engineering and quality assessment roles, you possess strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends in data and data quality issues.
- Skilled in performing data quality assessments to identify data inconsistencies, inaccuracies and incompleteness in data products.
- Able to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment, ensuring seamless execution of product deliveries and client reporting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate data flow from sources to consumers, including BI dashboards and ML models.
- Monitor data quality metrics and perform root cause analysis of data quality issues, taking appropriate steps to address any issues.
- Ensure that data quality processes are integrated into the data architecture, supporting all data governance initiatives.
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related field.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data profiling and mapping.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve data quality issues, identifying the root cause of problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Above bar communication skills to interface in a collaborative team environment.
- Well-organized individual who pays close attention to detail.
