Job Title: Data Quality Specialist

Bold Metrics is the leading provider of innovative data solutions for top retailers and brands. We are a fast-growing company making a significant impact on the environment, transforming the landscape of e-commerce with our cutting-edge technology.

We are currently seeking a skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team. This position requires an individual located in São Paulo, Brazil who can work in-person at least once weekly. As a Data Quality Specialist, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of our biggest projects within the retail industry.

About You:

You are a detail-oriented, passionate, and experienced professional looking for a challenging role that involves data quality engineering. This includes validating data flow from sources to consumers, including BI dashboards and ML models.

As a Data Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for working closely with the Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality data. Your primary goal will be to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring seamless data flows that drive customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data quality initiatives across the organization.
  • Develop and implement data validation processes.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data quality processes into data architecture.
  • Support data governance initiatives and ensure alignment with client requirements.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in data engineering and quality assessment roles.
  • High proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data profiling and mapping.
  • Skilled in performing data quality assessments to identify inconsistencies and inaccuracies.
  • Above-bar communication skills for collaborative teamwork.
