Java + Kafka Developer Role

We're seeking skilled and passionate Java + Kafka professionals to join a global project team. The ideal candidate will work on high-performance solutions, collaborating with international teams from various locations.

Location

  • Hybrid model: 3x per week at the office – Itaim Bibi, São Paulo.

Requirements (Must Have)

  • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above).
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka.
  • Basic knowledge of Unix and SQL , with willingness to grow.
  • Experience with Restful APIs, Python/Shell scripting .
  • Familiarity with GIT, SVN, and SDLC processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and automated deployments.
  • Fluent English – essential for daily communication with global teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, collaborative mindset, and results-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and maintain high-performance Java applications .
  • Implement enhancements, perform testing, and deploy new features.
  • Participate in solution architecture design and support technical decisions.
  • Ensure applications are aligned with business goals and standards.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose infrastructure and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and internal workflows.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
