Threat Assessment Specialist

The Threat Assessment Specialist will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential threats to Amazon people, operations, and assets in Latin America. They will monitor open source information, write risk alerts, and engage stakeholders to ensure mitigations are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct open source monitoring of threats to Amazon people, operations, and assets.
- Write proactive risk alerts and engage stakeholders to ensure mitigations are in place as needed.
- Verbally brief on calls related to ongoing and upcoming risk events, outlining the most likely and worst-case scenarios.
- Support incident management teams responding to high impact incidents in LATAM.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Experience with open source intelligence (OSINT) and research is necessary. Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A master's degree in a related field is preferred. Experience handling large datasets is also desired. Additionally, experience or an interest in leveraging technological solutions related to desktop research is beneficial.
About the Team:
The International Threat Evaluation team is responsible for monitoring and reporting on risks to Amazon people, operations, and assets across the International region. TERA analysts and managers work closely with stakeholders to leverage their subject matter expertise and provide valuable insights.
