Industrial Automation Software Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to provide exceptional technical support to our clients.
The successful candidate will have experience working with industrial automation software, including HMI/SCADA systems, and be proficient in programming languages such as VBScript. They will also have knowledge of relational databases and web-based technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote computer connections.
- Assist clients in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with HMI/SCADA systems.
- Collaborate with distributors, system integrators, and OEMs to provide additional support services.
- Develop and customize new product templates.
Requirements:
- Experience with HMI/SCADA software, such as AVEVA Edge, InduSoft Web Studio, Wonderware, Intouch, System Platform, OMI, FactoryTalk, or similar software.
- Familiarity with industrial automation components, including PLCs from manufacturers like Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Eaton, and Beckhoff.
- Proficiency in VBScript structured programming language (or similar languages including C, C++, C#, VB, or similar).
- Knowledge of relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL.
- Experience with web-based technologies, including HTML, HTML5, CSS, ActiveX, or JavaScript.
- English language proficiency (advanced).
Preferred qualifications include Spanish language proficiency and experience working with related software and technologies.
