Pricing Specialist - Electrification

This role reports to the Sales Support Specialist and is part of the Electrification division at ABB.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a sustainable process to gather market pricing data on offerings from ABB and competitors across the globe.
  2. Support the development of effective and efficient standards and special pricing strategies in line with the global division strategy, value, competition, and cost/profit.
  3. Ensure adherence to established pricing guidelines within the relevant organization.
  4. Analyze pricing structures and conditions to calculate profit reserves.
  5. Propose strategic and operational pricing corrections for approval by the division Sales/Portfolio/Product Manager.
  6. Contribute to the creation, implementation, and maintenance of information on pricing to ensure proper internal transfer pricing across local business units and regions.
  7. Support the development of pricing concepts to establish and manage cross-divisional pricings, such as in-frame agreements and key accounts/industrial segment requirements.
  8. Share knowledge and support its application throughout their area of accountability.
  9. Drive increased profitability through established professional pricing infrastructure.
  10. Act as the interface between the sales team and the global division pricing department or the Head of Division Pricing.
  11. Extract and analyze data from sales/financial tools to measure the effectiveness of the current pricing strategy and provide regular status reports to local and global management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Marketing, or correlated areas.
  • Mandatory advanced level of English.
  • Necessary advanced knowledge with Excel and PowerBI.
  • Desirable knowledge in CRM Salesforce.
