The organization seeks a seasoned Financial Executive Leader to oversee the financial functions and contribute to the growth of our operations in Argentina.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position that requires providing strategic financial support to drive business growth and effective management.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders in Operations & Finance, acting as a trusted business partner for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cost and Rate Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize financial performance.
  2. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Produce insightful analysis and reports on business performance to inform decision-making.
  3. Prepare monthly reporting packages, including variance reporting and forecasting activities.
  4. Perform analysis of actual results versus plan and forecast; prepare variance reporting.
  5. Coordinate and lead annual budgeting process and company forecasting activities.
  6. Define and implement relevant KPIs using internal and external data to support business goals.
  7. Implement automation throughout Accounting and Finance departments to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  8. Treasury and Cash Flow Management (AR/AP/ Unbilled): Ensure timely and accurate management of cash flows and accounts receivable/payable.
  9. Main point of contact for accounting external audit: Ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain accurate records.
  10. Provide insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability with a commercial perspective.
  11. Manage a team of Financial and Business Analysts: Foster a collaborative environment and develop their skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting / Economy / Administration and 7+ years of relevant experience in tax compliance, tax planning, or tax advisory.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of local tax regulations is required. International experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in accounting and/or reporting, preferably in private sectors; resort/hospitality or passenger ship experience is a plus.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, tables, and graph production) and in MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to influence and work in a support role.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial perspective and business acumen.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge in SAP.
