About This Role
">As a Manager, Commercial Acceptance, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our B2B payment solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that remove operational barriers and drive B2B acceptance.
Your expertise will be crucial in providing thought leadership on B2B merchant, acquiring, fintech issues, pain points, and opportunities to the global product team.
You will also lead market research activities to build B2B acceptance trends and insights, and build educational collateral to promote B2B acceptance across the ecosystem.
In addition, you will collaborate with the broader Corporate Solutions organization to champion corporate acceptance and develop products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to remove operational barriers and drive B2B acceptance.
- Provide thought leadership on B2B merchant, acquiring, fintech issues, pain points, and opportunities to the global product team.
- Lead market research activities to build B2B acceptance trends and insights.
- Build educational collateral to promote B2B acceptance across the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the broader Corporate Solutions organization to champion corporate acceptance and develop products and solutions.
- Work with internal and external partners to drive incremental merchant commercial payment acceptance.
- Coordinate with issuers, acquirers, and account management teams to leverage acceptance assets and grow portfolios.
- Ensure optimal utilization of Mastercard resources to meet objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 5-8 years of related experience in B2B merchant, acquiring product, business development, and strategy, with at least two years of management experience preferred.
- Proven track record in building effective supplier value propositions on the acquiring side.
- Strong sales, consultative skills, and executive presence.
- Data analysis and Excel skills to derive insights and strategy.
- Knowledge of the B2B payments industry, trends, Merchant & Commerce landscape, acquirer economics, and value chain; experience in accounts receivables is a plus.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate in a matrix organization.
- Proven sales record and ability to execute in a dynamic environment.
- Strong business, market, financial analysis, and project management skills.
Skills/Abilities
- Bilingual in Portuguese/English; Spanish is desirable.
- Effective interaction and coordination with internal and external partners.
- Business acumen and solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated with a success-driven track record.
- Some travel required; work in a general office environment.
