Expert Employment Law Advisor

We are seeking an expert Employment Law Counsel to join our legal team in Brazil and the LATAM region.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice on employment law issues, including hiring practices, employment contracts, terminations, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and other related legal documents.
- Manage employment disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
- Develop and update internal policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to HR and management teams on employment law matters and compliance.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise on potential impacts to the company's operations.
- Handle cross-border employment matters, including expatriate arrangements and global mobility programs.
- Advise on worker classification, particularly in the context of the gig economy.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employment law within Brazil and the LATAM region, preferably with experience dealing with international labor regulations.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of employment law and be able to provide expert advice on employment law issues. They will also be skilled at drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and other related legal documents.
