Join our network of skilled professionals to work on a mid-senior level role as an Engineering Team Lead with a focus on Backend/Data.

This position involves collaborating with existing designers and engineers to develop new features for scalable solutions using Python programming language, JavaScript, and RESTful web services.

Key responsibilities include leading engineering teams, creating effective unit, system, and integration tests, coding, testing, and software development, and contributing to libraries as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software development experience, 2+ years of management experience with strong leadership skills, advanced English proficiency, and a four-year college degree. They should also be fluent in Python, experienced in using JavaScript and JS Frameworks, and have expertise in Agile/Scrum team collaboration, continuous integration and delivery, and large, complex systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a manager with strong leadership skills
  • Advanced English required
  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree required
  • Fluent in Python programming language
  • Experience utilizing JavaScript, JS Frameworks (React, Angular, etc.), and RESTful web services
  • Experience in coding, testing, and software development with ability to write effective unit, system, and integration tests
  • Background in leading engineering teams to develop new features for scalable ML/AI solutions
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed
  • Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications
  • Forensic attention to detail
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work
  • Ability to identify with the goals of FullStack's clients and dedicate yourself to delivering on commitments
  • Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week
