Job Title: Electrical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Electrical Assembler. This role involves winding transformers using semi-automatic equipment and may include electrical testing.

The successful candidate will have the ability to read instructions, perform basic math, and operate measuring tools and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities:
  • Coil Assembly: Wrap insulation around coils and secure with adhesive tape. Drive fiber wedges between coil and core using a mallet.
  • Electrical Testing: Crimp leads to coil wire and tags to lead wires as per wiring diagrams.
  • Transformer Assembly: Assemble support structures, clamping angles, terminals, tanks, or panels.
  • Brazing: Braze coil leads to specified tanks or terminal strips.
  • Fabrication: Fabricate coils and assemble components for various transformers following blueprints and instructions.
  • Winding: Wind copper wire to form primary and secondary coils.
  • Varnishing: Varnish dip transformers.
  • Maintenance: Stamp part numbers and date codes. Perform hi-pot testing and continuity checks.
Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, or up to three months of related experience. The ideal candidate will be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud environment.

This is a full-time, entry-level position typically scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
