Highly skilled Assembler required to join a dynamic team. This key role involves winding transformers using semi-automatic equipment and may include electrical testing.

Job Description
  • Wrap insulation around coils and secure with adhesive tape.
  • Drive fiber wedges between coil and core using a mallet.
  • Crimp leads to coil wire and tags to lead wires as per wiring diagrams.
  • Assemble support structures, clamping angles, terminals, tanks, or panels.
  • Braze coil leads to specified tanks or terminal strips.
  • Fabricate coils and assemble components for various transformers following blueprints and instructions.
  • Wind copper wire to form primary and secondary coils.
  • Varnish dip transformers.
  • Stamp part numbers and date codes.
  • Perform hi-pot testing and continuity checks.
Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent, or up to three months of related experience is required. The ability to read instructions, perform basic math, and operate measuring tools and pallet jacks is essential. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud environment is also necessary.

This full-time, entry-level position is typically scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
