Packaging Technicians play a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of packaging systems. At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Technician to operate, control, and monitor packaging systems with both manual and automated processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, control, and monitor packaging systems in accordance with established work instructions and SOPs.
  • Clean the area of operation during each shift and periodically clean the entire packaging area.
  • Document all activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize SAP to perform material transactions and movements efficiently.
  • Stage materials to ensure continuous operation of packaging equipment.
  • Suggest process improvement ideas to enhance packaging operations and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot issues with systems and make minor adjustments as necessary.
  • Report safety concerns to designated personnel.
  • Ensure timely completion of individual training programs.
  • Operate pallet jacks or similar equipment to move materials safely.
  • Perform regular challenges on packaging equipment to verify that inspection systems are functioning correctly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge and application of SAP for inventory control.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to operate PLC controls effectively.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic disposition.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and their application to packaging processes.
