We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Specialist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate electrical equipment according to detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect received components for quality and accuracy.
  • Solder, fit and assemble components with precision.
  • Fabricate specialty parts as required.
  • Recommend improvements to processes and equipment.
  • Ensure operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow all safety rules and policies.
  • Inspect fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested.
  • Audit equipment against drawings as required.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment and transportation.
  • Support fabrication teams in ensuring quality, safety and operation.
  • Support start-up and equipment repair as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems as required.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and have prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years post-graduate in Manufacturing or related field.
  • 2 years' experience in Electrical Assembly or Industrial Controls.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./ 23 kilograms.
  • Domestic and international travel is required.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in electrical assembly and industrial controls. They will be responsible for fabricating electrical equipment, inspecting components, soldering and assembling components, and recommending process improvements.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and have prior experience with implementing CI and Lean/Six Sigma principles. They will also be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./ 23 kilograms and be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
