Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Finance Shared Service Center in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

About the Role:

  • ">
  • Provide support to the R2R leadership team in administering the R2R process to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of transactions, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with local regulations and specifications;">
  • Manage the administration of fixed asset databases for the entire organization, including processing asset creation in the ERP system, project codes, and WBS alignment with approved CERs;">
  • Ensure 100% completion of balance sheet reconciliations, classifications, and conduct balance sheet reviews with clients to drive and clear long outstanding balances;">
  • Ensure accurate entries/reports/schedules needed to complete a timely financial close in accordance with local GAAP & IFRS where applicable;">
  • Support timely submission of global reports to facilitate group consolidation and management & coordination of internal and external audits with globally nominated audit partners;">
  • Ensure accurate financial information needed to complete a timely financial close internal and external audits in accordance with Michelin statutory and management reporting requirements;">
  • Responsible for supporting R2R leadership for the maintenance and transactional consistency of the Global Operational Chart of Accounts and Local Chart of Accounts for different group legal entities;">
  • Lead R2R related continuous process improvements and new service creation and present to R2R leadership in a periodic manner;">
  • Manage fixed assets transactions within Global procedures and policies and any gaps to be immediately reported to the right stakeholders;">
  • Manage R2R related SAP UAT support to clients where required.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong change management skills;">
  • Knowledge and experience with international accounting, finance, and tax regulations is an added advantage;">
  • Proficient in using SAP in financial accounting;">
  • Project management experience preferred;">
  • Ability to effectively work in a multi-location and multiple time zones and adapt to different cultures.">

  • Part qualification in CIMA (UK), ACCA (UK)/CA (SL);">
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience;">
  • Knowledge and experience with international accounting, finance, and tax regulations will be an added advantage;">
  • Experience in ERP system, preferably in SAP (FI, MM) or any other ERP system is preferred;">
  • Ability to work in different shifts (UK/USA) will be an added advantage;">
