Technical Writer Role

We assist organizations by creating high-quality user assistance materials to enhance the usability of their products.

  • We help clients research, map, and validate user journeys for their products with an emphasis on how language can increase adoption and improve onboarding.
  • We create help documentation (embedded help, multi-media, and documentation) targeted at various user profiles.
  • We write UI texts and other UX copy to enhance the usability of our products in close collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • We create or participate in creation of video tutorials to guide users through the apps (script writing, screen recording, video editing).
  • We define terminology (simple, consistent, and conforms to industry standards).
  • We adhere to standards and guidelines to deliver high-quality user assistance.
  • We participate in initiatives to improve tools, processes, and content.
  • We act as an advocate for an excellent user experience.
  • We lead user assistance projects, serve as a SME for development/User Assistance initiatives, and help mentor team members.
About This Role
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, UX Design, Computer Science, or any related field is required.
  • Extensive experience in information development, technical writing, support, or other forms of content development is necessary.
  • Ideal first-language proficiency in English, or excellent written and spoken skills in English are expected.
  • Experience serving as a content SME within a Development group is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in technical writing along with experience documenting end-to-end user experiences is highly valued.
  • The ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner is essential.
  • Outstanding communication, writing, and grammar skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work within tight deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high quality is critical.
  • Flexibility and readiness to communicate with other team members are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills are essential.
