Partner Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this key position. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales management roles and be able to build strategic relationships with partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Development: Build pipeline and transact opportunities through indirect vendors.
  • Partner Growth: Grow partner awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu.
  • Ecosystem Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem.
  • Target Achievement: Deliver on targets and objectives, providing a voice of the partner.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel regularly to drive partnerships in person.
Requirements:
  • Experience in sales management roles.
  • Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on mentality.
  • Ability to capture customer requirements, evaluate gaps, identify and create opportunities.
  • Passionate about Ubuntu products and mission.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player with superior accountability and customer support skills.
