Main Purpose of Position

The primary objective of this role is to drive business growth opportunities by executing the strategic goals of the organization and delivering exceptional service to customers and potential customers.

Key Performance Areas
  1. Consult with clients to identify and negotiate deals across all four products, resulting in successful signings with decision-makers and business owners.
  2. Source viable opportunities to promote the Connect Group offering, securing required daily, weekly, and monthly quote output, and building a solid pipeline of opportunities with business owners and decision-makers.
  3. Focus on securing meetings with decision-makers where the business is currently in the market for a cash management solution.
  4. Strive to understand clients' business requirements to effectively provide the correct Connected solution and negotiate past objections.
  5. Sell the end-to-end solution and its benefits, ensuring maximum client satisfaction once the client is converted.
  6. Build up a healthy pipeline of opportunity on the CRM system (core suite).
  7. Bring in new business to exceed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets agreed to across Card Connect, Kazang Connect, Capital Connect, and Cash Connect.
  8. Manage and retain relationships with key industry influencers.
  9. Grow available opportunities via referral business events and tradeshows.
  10. Understand the Connect Group offering fully to best consult with the prospect base and ensure maximum client satisfaction once the client is converted.
  11. Assist in transferring the relationship post-installation to the Account Manager/Hybrid managing the customer thereafter.
  12. Manage prospects' expectations post signing up a Connected Product.
  13. Manage all activity and reporting via core suite and report server daily to effectively manage and secure the prospect base.
  14. Manage and action ongoing promotions, campaigns, and strategic decisions throughout the prospect base.
  15. Keep the prospect base appraised of any changes or new product development/services within Connect Group.
  16. Conduct monthly site visits of the current month's tiers.
  17. Maintain an accurate customer database and call cycle.
  18. Perform ad-hoc requests as and when required.
  19. Manage the customer portfolio allocated to you by ensuring:
    1. Declared BTV to Actual BTV processed monthly/quarterly/annually.
    2. Manage customers not utilizing the device and try to reduce to a fully active portfolio.
    3. Limit technical call outs by ensuring efficient and thorough switch-on training as well as ongoing training with the device users/sites.
    4. Renewal negotiations to begin @12 months remaining on the current contract.
    5. Keep the customer appraised of any changes or new product developments and services.
    6. Settlement process is understood, and client is trained on instant access and online client portal, Webflo.
    7. Work with Finance on any escalated queries that they require assistance with.
    8. Feedback and quick resolution to customer queries, acknowledgment of email within 24 hours and resolution within 48 hours.
    9. Training and upskilling of new and existing customers on an ongoing basis.
    10. Train the client on the current escalation process on the following:
      1. Technical issues.
      2. CIT escalations.
      3. Settlement/Recon Queries.
      4. Contact Centre Support.
      5. Contact Centre WhatsApp support.
